Today (19/6) the prefecture of Athens decided to suspend the use of the Lykavitos Theater for concerts.
The sold-out concert of James Blunt was also cancelled, with the police sending away the people who had bought tickets for the concerts and wanted to get there.
That's prety sad, cause many bands and artists (Massive Attack,Motorhead,James Brown and many more) chose that unique open concert hall due to the fantastic view to the Acropolis,instead of booking a larger place....

W00t? Are you serious? What were the reasons of the suspension?

I had the same expression when I heard about it.I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
The reasons for suspending its use are technical and safety,that's what I have heard till now.
I am eager for the official announcement,to see what the smartasses are up for...
